About research peptides
Peptides are short chains of amino acids supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder. Before any research use they must be reconstituted — dissolved in a sterile diluent — and then kept cold.
Reconstitution
Reconstitute with the diluent listed on the product page (bacteriostatic or sterile water).
- Let the vial and diluent reach room temperature.
- Draw the diluent with a sterile syringe.
- Add it slowly down the inner wall of the vial — never spray it directly onto the powder.
- Swirl gently to dissolve. Do not shake.
- Let it stand until the solution is fully clear before use.
How much diluent to add depends on your target concentration — use the calculator.
Concentration calculator
Enter the vial amount, the diluent volume, and your target to get the exact volume to draw. We use our own calculator for this:
On a U-100 insulin syringe, 100 units = 1 ml. You enter your own target — this is a calculation, not a dose recommendation.
Storage
- Lyophilized (sealed): store at −20 °C, away from light — stable for months.
- Reconstituted: store at 2–8 °C (refrigerated) and use within about 2–4 weeks.
- Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles and temperature swings.
Sterile handling
Work in a clean area, wipe the vial stopper with alcohol, use sterile single-use syringes, and avoid touching the needle. Discard the solution if it becomes cloudy, discolored, or contains particles.
Safety & compliance
These compounds are supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. They are not medicines and are not intended for human or animal consumption, diagnosis, or treatment. Handle them in accordance with your local regulations and good laboratory practice.
