PEGylated mechano growth factor, an IGF-1 splice-variant analog studied in muscle-repair models.
PEG-MGF is supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder. Reconstitute it before research use. Recommended diluent: bacteriostatic water.
Example: 2 ml of diluent in this 2 mg vial gives 1,000 mcg/ml. A 200 mcg research amount is then 0.2 ml (20 units on a U-100 syringe) — about 10 doses per vial.
Most commonly referenced in published research at 200–400 mcg, twice weekly. Reference only — not a dosing instruction.
Refrigerate 2–8 °C. Keep lyophilized vials frozen and out of light. Once reconstituted, refrigerate (2–8 °C) and use within a few weeks. Always use sterile technique.
For laboratory and research use only. Not for human or veterinary use, food, or drug applications.
