A short research-handling guide for ARA 290. For laboratory and research use only.
Erythropoietin-derived 11-amino-acid peptide (cibinetide) studied in tissue-protection and small-fiber models.
ARA 290 is supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder. Reconstitute it before research use. Recommended diluent: bacteriostatic water.
Example: 2 ml of diluent in this 10 mg vial gives 5,000 mcg/ml. A 1,000 mcg research amount is then 0.2 ml (20 units on a U-100 syringe) — about 10 doses per vial.
Most commonly referenced in published research at 1,000–4,000 mcg, once daily. Reference only — not a dosing instruction.
Keep lyophilized vials frozen and out of light. Once reconstituted, refrigerate (2–8 °C) and use within a few weeks. Always use sterile technique.
For laboratory and research use only. Not for human or veterinary use, food, or drug applications.
