VIP is supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder. Reconstitute it before research use. Recommended diluent: bacteriostatic water.
Example: 2 ml of diluent in this 10 mg vial gives 5,000 mcg/ml.
Keep lyophilized vials frozen and out of light. Once reconstituted, refrigerate (2–8 °C) and use within a few weeks. Always use sterile technique.
